"Miss Jessie's could not have been a success at Target without Kathy Mazon's assistance. Going from a small company and navigating the waters of big retail is a huge undertaking that is fraught with a lot of risk. We found Kathy's assistance to be essential in bridging the gap and "teaching" us how to do business successfully in Target. I can't recommend her enough."Titi Branch - Co-CEO - Miss Jessie's
"Kathy Mazon is passionate about facilitating connections between businesses. Whether it is guiding small businesses through processes with large corporations, or connecting small businesses with each other, her knowledge and expertise is a tremendous resource. We have gained new customers through Kathy’s connections and recommendations. If you need to find solutions, Kathy is definitely the “go to” person and I would highly recommend her."Kathy Enerson - CEO/Owner - Twin River LLC
"Kathy’s years of experience in retail have given her exceptional superpowers; not only can she envision a product’s best path to success, but she can also facilitate the strategic connections necessary to get it there. In only minutes, Kathy was able to assess my product. I took her advice to heart, streamlining production, lowering manufacturing costs and raising quality. When I was ready, she helped connect me to a fantastic distributor. Sharp, passionate, approachable and caring, Kathy is a rare find in the business world. I bless the day I was introduced to her and can’t wait to work with her again."Noël Goldman - Owner - Noël & Co
"Kathy truly understands the power of partnership and relationship cultivation. Kathy provides great insights in getting a new business up and running in today's retail environment. Her advice, expertise and collaboration are essential to success."Marilynn Martin - The Emerson Group
"JAB would not have been as successful without Kathy’s assistance. She was instrumental in relevant design ideas, colors and patterns, as we started with manufacturing. Small companies navigating the waters of big retailers like Target, Walmart and Macy's is a huge task with lots of risk. We found Kathy's guidance to be essential in "teaching" us how to do business successfully. Bouncing an idea off her and getting needed constructive feedback is awesome. I recommend her to anyone that is looking to bridge the gap between big box retailers, and small business. She has been in the retail industry a long time and understands the culture, contacts and product positioning needed."Dave Badhwa - CEO - JAB Companies, Inc.
"Kathy, has been instrumental in finding vendors to fill gaps in my assortments throughout my many years and buying positions at Target. I can think of at least 5 vendors she identified for me that have collectively sold over $100m+.
She takes the time to understand the strategy, and then sources suppliers with the potential to deliver great results. She is diligent about vetting true capabilities, so I never need to second guess. She spends the time needed coaching, refining presentations, addressing supply chain issues, and keeping all partners informed. If a vendor isn’t ready she will either work to build them up, or respectfully pass; she won't waste a buyers time.
When I do meet with a supplier that can deliver on my objectives, we can hit the ground running! She is a true partner with an elevated sense of urgency, passion, and always over-delivers. Kathy can finesse a small opportunity into a huge success, and that helps us win with our guests."Linda Sullivan - Buyer, D52 National Brand Cosmetics -

She has deep roots, is respected nationally in the supplier diversity community, and has aided hundreds of diverse businesses on their paths to success."Molly Larsen - Director, Corporate Responsibility (GNFR) –
